Christmas Aftermath
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! Ours was great...lots of family and good food and happy children playing with their new presents. I am exhausted, I went to bed last night at 9:30, which is really early for me, woke up by 8:30am and I am still tired. Oh well, today feels like one of those lazy type of days anyway! I plan on alternating playing with my kids and the new toys (especially Rockband!) and cleaning my house which is in shambles. I will post Christmas pics when I find my camera cord! Have a relaxing, lazy day!

A special Thankful Thursday....on a Friday.
I love the convenience of shopping for Christmas presents online late at night in my jammies.
My sister, a.k.a. RaRa, for watching my kids while I was at a long dentist appointment and for treating my kids like her own.
My neighbor, Wendy for always bringing me a treat and lending me her stuff.

I Really Lived
I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails.
*I want to drive up in a station wagon with mud on the wheels from taking the kids to scout camp.
*I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbor's children.
*I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden.
*I want to be be there with sticky children's kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder.
*I want the Lord to know that I was really here and that I really lived.

Food Storage Fanatic
I love recipes that incorporate my food storage. This is my new favorite website:

This gal is the food storage queen! I've tried a couple of her recipes and they were awesome. We especially loved the chocolate pudding made with magic mix. What is magic mix? Go check out her website!
